Bryce James executed a hilarious prank call on his mom Savannah during a recent episode of her podcast, “Everybody Crazy.”
The show features a segment called “What’s Your Crazy,” where listeners share their personal grievances or quirky stories, and Savannah fields these calls.
Opening the segment, Savannah took a call from “Darrell,” a self-proclaimed 17-year-old from Atlanta. “Darrell” described his frustration about his mom scolding him for his loud reactions while playing video games—cursing, yelling, and banging on the desk. Savannah, initially unaware of who was on the other end, listened and sympathized, sharing her own rules for her sons about where cursing is permissible.
Savannah explained, “I did this rule with my sons—they play basketball, and I gave them the ‘you can cuss on the court rule,’ but I guess I got to translate that to you can cuss when you’re on the game too because the obscenities that fly out of their mouths through my closet wall? It’s crazy.”
Co-host April McDaniel chimed in, remarking on the normalcy of kids getting excited, though she noted limits were necessary: “It’s a little extreme. So there’s like, limits to it. I think you could go excitement, six to eight, a 10 is crazy and sometimes you guys are at a 10. So I think just like, bring it down a little bit…”

Savannah then cut in, “Keep it between a six and eight.”
As the call wrapped up, McDaniel reassured “Darrell” that his behavior wasn’t too crazy. That’s when Bryce revealed his true identity, saying, “To be honest mom, I don’t even think that’s crazy at all.”
Caught off guard, Savannah exclaimed in surprise, “Wait?! Bryce?! What the f—?!”
The podcast episode continued with laughter and amusement at Bryce’s successful prank, highlighting the light-hearted and fun dynamic between Savannah and her son.
