The 28-year-old athlete will be showcasing his skills as a wide receiver for the Razorbacks.
Back in 2014, Harrison was highly regarded as a 4-star prospect and ranked as the No. 7 player in Missouri by 247Sports.
In his senior year, he demonstrated his versatility and athleticism by tallying 60 receptions for 1,007 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Additionally, he contributed 198 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, and even managed a passing touchdown.
Originally committed to Nebraska despite offers from schools like Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan State, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas, Harrison opted for a baseball career after being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the MLB draft in 2014.
However, his journey in baseball was not without its challenges.
Spending six years in the minor leagues, Harrison struggled to establish himself before finally making his MLB debut in 2020 with the Miami Marlins.
In his inaugural season, he played 32 games, batting .170 with one home run and three RBI.
Despite the initial opportunity, he only appeared in nine games the following year and was subsequently demoted to Triple-A.
In April 2022, Harrison inked a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Angels.
Despite a brief stint in the majors that June, where he played nine games, he was soon designated for assignment by the Angels.
Subsequently, he reunited with the Brewers on a minor league contract in 2023, playing a total of 88 games for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds.
Arkansas is looking for a much better season in 2024 after finishing 4-8 in 2023 which was good for last place in the SEC West.
