Sheldon’s performance for her new team was unfortunately eclipsed by Clark’s standout debut with the Indiana Fever. To compound matters, Sheldon found herself on the receiving end of Clark’s impressive play.
Facing off against the former Iowa Hawkeyes standout was always going to be a formidable challenge, but Sheldon accepted it nonetheless. However, in a pivotal moment late in the first quarter, Clark’s maneuver resulted in Sheldon hitting the deck while Clark drained a three-pointer. Despite the apparent offensive foul, the call wasn’t made, and the incident quickly went viral on social media.

In her 13 minutes on the court, Sheldon managed to sink both of her three-point attempts, tallying six points, along with two assists and one rebound.
