Angel Reese was gearing up to make her WNBA preseason debut for the Chicago Sky against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday night.
In a recent interview with NBC Chicago, Reese discussed her connection with Caleb Williams, the top draft pick of the Chicago Bears. Describing Williams as “my dog,” Reese emphasized their friendship, facilitated by mutual friends in their social circle. She expressed excitement about hanging out with Williams after his draft selection, highlighting their shared ties to the DMV (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area and their collective impact on the city.
“Yeah, that’s my dog,” Reese said of her relationship with Williams. “Yeah, me and Caleb are cool. One of my good friends are best friends with him that are in my friend group.
“Just being able to have another DMV tie, another amazing player … so we lit right now. We turning the city up right now,” she said. “[Caleb and I] talked after he got drafted. I don’t know when he’s gonna be here, but we’re all gonna hang out. My friend is coming down, and we’re all gonna hang out, cause we’re cool. So I’m excited.”
