Veteran NFL reporter Josina Anderson has announced her departure from CBS Sports, where she has been a significant presence since joining in 2021.
Anderson shared her decision to leave the network through a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday. In her post, Anderson expressed gratitude towards her colleagues at CBS Sports, stating, “I want to thank the CBS Sports team for my experience and time there. I’m amicably moving on to future ventures,” and wished all her colleagues continued success.
Prior to her stint at CBS Sports, primarily as an NFL insider for CBS Sports HQ, Anderson was part of ESPN for nine years until her contract expired in 2020. During her tenure at ESPN, she emerged as one of the network’s top NFL reporters, frequently appearing on major shows such as “SportsCenter” and “NFL Live.”

Her move to CBS in September 2021 marked the beginning of a new chapter that lasted about two and a half years. Additionally, Anderson contributed to Skip Bayless’ “Undisputed” on FS1 during her time with CBS, although she has not appeared on the show in recent months, as reported by Awful Announcing.
Regarding her role on “Undisputed,” Anderson had commented in a press release, “It’s going to be exciting to contribute to a show that’s already great and established. I’ll be able to offer a balancing dose of credibility and femininity. Looking forward to mixing it up with the great talent and everyone else who makes it happen.”
Aside from her television career, Anderson also hosts the “Undefined with Josina Anderson” podcast, which last released an episode in August 2023 according to its Apple podcast page. She is also involved in “TheCREW,” a YouTube show centered around football discussions. The latest episode on “TheCREW”’s YouTube page featured an appearance by Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man and was posted last September.
