Charles Barkely issued a heartfelt apology on NBA on TNT to Beyonce’s mother after trashing the city of Galveston, Texas following the New Orleans Pelicans Game 3 playoff series loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Barkley originally had this to say:
“We’re not even going to send ’em to Cancun. We’re gonna send ’em to Galveston with that dirty water washing up on the shore. People think they’re at the beach… Y’all quit. Drive your a– down to Galveston,” Barkley quipped.
On Sunday night, Barkley issued an apology to Beyonce’s mother after she called out Barkley for trashing Galveston.
“Chuck: “I don’t want that smoke. I don’t want the Beyhive and Jay after me.”

The one thing Barkley can say is that at least Beyonce and her mother are not from San Antonio.
