Caleb Williams, selected as the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, appears to have a new girlfriend, Alina Thyregod, as the former USC quarterback steps into a new era.
The couple caught attention as they walked the red carpet together, perfectly coordinated; Williams in a sleek Chrome Hearts suit and Thyregod in a complementary silver dress.
In a charming gesture of unity, Williams even painted his pinkie nail silver to match Thyregod’s dress, saying, “I feel comfy in my own skin,” when discussing his fashion choice with reporters.
However, little is publicly known about Alina Thyregod. Her social media footprint is minimal, with a private Instagram account and sparse activity on TikTok, where she has posted only 12 times in four years. Two of those posts feature Williams, hinting at their relationship.
One post from January depicted a playful moment during a vacation, suggesting early signs of their romantic connection.
On the eve of the draft, Thyregod shared a behind-the-scenes video of their draft day preparations, and after Williams was drafted, she celebrated on Instagram with a post captioned, “go bearssss” while donning a Chicago hat.

Williams was previously in a relationship with Valery Orellana since 2020, becoming ‘Instagram official’ with a prom photo. Although that post has been removed, they continue to support each other on social media, with Orellana backing Williams throughout his Heisman-winning college career.
It’s unclear when Williams and Thyregod officially started dating again, but they reconnected after initially dating during their time at Gonzaga College High School. Williams shared on The Pivot Podcast that they had dated briefly before maintaining strong communication over four years and eventually rekindling their relationship.
Draft night showcased their strong connection, with Thyregod joining Williams and his mother, Dayna Price, on the red carpet and sharing a heartfelt embrace after his name was announced.
With Williams set to lead the Chicago Bears, fans can look forward to seeing Thyregod supporting him from the stands at Soldier Field.
