Mic drop.
Anthony Davis unintentionally had social media buzzing with an epic mic drop after being asked about Jamal Murray’s buzzer-beater on Monday night.
Davis’ Los Angeles Lakers fell to Murray’s Denver Nuggets in dramatic fashion as Murray hit a shot to win it as time expired which gave the Nuggets a 2-0 lead in the series as they head to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.
Davis was asked about the shot post-game and had this to say followed by an extremely loud mic drop:
“Jamal Murray made a shot.”
That’s one loud mic drop!
Social media had a ton of fun with this one.
Davis wasn’t the only one to have a press conference moment following the loss.
LeBron James also took the time to profanely criticize the officiating.
“I don’t understand what’s going on in the replay center, to be honest… What the f*** do we have a replay center… Makes no sense to me. It bothers me.”
The Lakers had a 20-point lead in this one and couldn’t hold it, and this now marks ten straight losses to the Denver Nuggets.
Game 3 will be about as must-win as a non-elimination game can get for the Lakers back in L.A.
