Muhl’s impact was particularly evident during the Final Four, where she showcased her defensive prowess by limiting top pick Caitlin Clark to just two points in the first quarter and a season-low 21 points overall in UConn’s game against Iowa on April 5th.
Additionally, Muhl made history by setting the Huskies’ career assist record during her senior season, totaling 686 assists and surpassing esteemed UConn legends like Moriah Jefferson, Diana Taurasi, Jennifer Rizzotti, and Renee Montgomery.
Standing at 5-foot-11, Muhl served as a point guard and contributed an average of 6.9 points, four rebounds, and 6.5 assists during the 2023-24 season.
She showcased remarkable shooting accuracy with a career-best 46.2% field goal percentage and an impressive 40.2% from beyond the arc.
Muhl’s consistent performance earned her an honorable mention All-American recognition from the Associated Press for the second consecutive year, along with a spot on the All-Big East second team.
Notably, she was also named the Big East Defensive Player of the Year in both 2022 and 2023.
