Caitlin Clark has reached an absurd level of fame, as evidenced by recent developments.
Following Clark’s leadership in guiding the Iowa Hawkeyes past the LSU Tigers in the Elite 8 at MVP Arena in Albany, New York, a sports memorabilia company has embarked on an unusual endeavor to capitalize on her celebrity.
The Realest is currently auctioning off items from the Big Ten, including chairs that Caitlin Clark occupied during the NCAA conference tournament. These chairs are labeled as “Iowa WBB #22.” Interestingly, it’s worth noting that the Illinois men’s basketball team also utilized these same chairs during their Big Ten Tournament final victory over Wisconsin on March 17th.

Former ESPN reporter Darren Rovell highlighted this peculiar auction on X, sparking a surge in bidding from $156 to $246.
To ensure authenticity, a representative from the sports memorabilia company was present at the game, monitoring the chairs Clark sat on and noting the corresponding time on the clock.
Each auction listing is accompanied by a time stamp, with one chair noted before the game and the second one at 1:27 minutes left in the second quarter of Iowa’s triumph over Nebraska.
Both auctions are scheduled to conclude on Sunday at 10 p.m.
