A technology company specializing in market analysis revealed that this week, the average resale price for tickets to the NCAA women’s Final Four was twice as high as that for the men’s semifinals.
According to Logitix’s report on Wednesday, the average price of tickets sold for the women’s semifinals was $2,323, while the men’s averaged $1,001.21.
The women’s matchups on Friday will feature Iowa against Connecticut and South Carolina against North Carolina State at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, which has a capacity of 19,432 seats. Looking back over the past month and beyond, the average price for women’s semifinal tickets stands at $1,131.78, compared to $400.29 during the same period in 2023.
On Saturday, the men’s games will see Purdue against North Carolina State and Connecticut against Alabama at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which accommodates 63,400 spectators. Overall, the average ticket price for the men’s semifinals is $993.70, up from $636.43 in 2023.

As for the championship games, the average resale price for a ticket to the women’s final on Sunday was $1,110.63, while for the men’s final on Monday, it was $646.45.
A spokesperson from Logitix attributed the higher prices for the women’s games to the fact that the supply of tickets for the men’s games is greater due to the larger seating capacity of their venue, which is three times larger. Additionally, unprecedented demand for women’s tickets is being fueled by the excitement surrounding Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, the all-time leading scorer in Division I. The Hawkeyes have consistently played to sellout crowds throughout the season.
The NCAA originally sold ticket packages that included all three games of the Final Four, but they are now sold out. These packages ranged from $200 to $400 for the women’s semifinals and final and $250 to $900 for the men’s semifinals and final.
It’s worth noting that tickets for the semifinals and final can be sold separately on the resale market since they are held on different days and require different digital entry QR codes.
