The Cavinder Twins are not happy campers.
A statement has been released by Hanna Cavinder in response to an article written about her and her twin sister, Haley.
The article, titled “The NCAA Has a ‘Hot Girl’ Problem,” was written by sports writer Ethan Strauss and featured in The Free Press.
The Cavinder twins were interviewed by Strauss, who previously wrote for The Athletic and ESPN, with the intention of discussing their life following NIL (name, likeness, image). However, they were disappointed to find that the article focused heavily on their physical appearance. Despite a lengthy interview lasting over an hour, the twins were only asked one question about their looks.
They also expressed frustration that the author failed to acknowledge their efforts to inspire others. The article detailed the twins’ earnings, which currently stand at over $2 million in 2023. Haley and Hanna previously played basketball together for the Fresno State Bulldogs, before transferring to the Miami Hurricanes’ program last year.

Haley was named the Mountain West Player of the Year in 2021, while Hanna received several All-Mountain West Team selections.
The twins, who recently signed with WWE’s NIL program, made their debut on the company’s NXT program last week.
