At the close of this week’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce dropped a not-so-subtle hint regarding his younger brother Travis Kelce’s romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
During an interview segment with new Philadelphia Eagle Saquon Barkley, the conversation veered toward Barkley’s aspirations of emulating Apollo Creed from the ‘Rocky’ film series.
Encouraging Barkley to vocalize his ambitions, Jason suggested that “stuff happens when it goes out on New Heights,” alluding to previous instances where the podcast had influenced events.
This hint harked back to a summer episode where Travis openly expressed admiration for Swift after attending her concert in Kansas City. Travis had even crafted a friendship bracelet for Swift, hoping to catch her attention with his gesture. Although their initial meeting didn’t materialize at the concert, Swift acknowledged Travis’ shout-out on ‘New Heights’, sparking their romance.
Barkley mused about his aspirations, drawing parallels to Creed’s journey, to which Travis enthusiastically responded. Jason chimed in, emphasizing the power of speaking desires into existence, a theme echoed throughout their podcast.
‘Seriously, you just throw it out there,’ Jason Kelce added. ‘Stuff happens when it goes out on New Heights. Speak it into existence.’

Travis humorously suggested Barkley replicate Rocky Balboa’s iconic training regimen at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, known as the ‘Rocky Steps’. This reference alludes to one of the franchise’s most memorable scenes, where Rocky ascends the steps as part of his training routine.
Travis’ relationship with Swift has garnered significant attention, elevating his celebrity status. He’s been spotted at Swift’s concerts worldwide, while Swift herself has shown support by attending numerous Chiefs games, including playoff matches. Swift even made a whirlwind journey from a Tokyo concert to attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas within a day, demonstrating her commitment to supporting Travis and his team.
