The Los Angeles Rams have made an upgrade to their secondary.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has the report:
“Former Bills All-Pro CB Tre’Davious White intends to sign a one-year, $8.5 million deal with a max value up to $10 million with the Los Angeles Rams, per sources. His agents Kevin Conner and Robert Brown of @unisportsmgmt confirmed the deal. More secondary help for the Rams.”
Tre’Davious White suffered a season-ending injury just four games in to the 2023 season with the Buffalo Bills.
Drafted out of LSU in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft, White had spent his entire career with the Bills and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2019 and 2020.
White was also a First-Team All-Pro in 2019 and a Second-Team All-Pro in 2020.
Recent seasons have been injury-plagued for White, however.
Over the last three seasons, White has only appeared in 23 games, including the two postseason games he appeared in for the Bills in 2022.
Despite this, White will be a difference-maker for the Rams secondary if he can remain on the field.
