Kyrie Irving in a Miami Heat jersey?
The Miami Heat reportedly made an offer at last season’s trade deadline to the Brooklyn Nets for Kyrie Irving. Of course, a deal did not happen as Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
However, this may mean that the Heat make a run at Kyrie this offseason.

“Just to give you a glimpse of what they’ve looked at over the last several months, they made an offer to the [Brooklyn] Nets for Kyrie Irving at the deadline from what I’m told, right before he got traded to the [Dallas] Mavericks before the deadline,” NBA insider Shams Charania said.
While the Miami Heat outperformed expectations by making the NBA Finals, it is very likely that they will be interested in acquiring another star player to team up with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
While Kyrie’s recent track record hasn’t brought much success to the team’s he has played for, it is undeniable that Irving would provide the Heat with some much-needed star power.
If the Heat can’t pull off a trade for Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving may be their primary target.
