Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara have parted ways with their Denver mansion, selling it for $21.5 million. This sale represents a $3.5 million loss for the couple as they prepare to move to Pittsburgh.
The luxurious 11,000-square-foot mansion, located in the affluent suburb of Cherry Hills Village, was listed for sale earlier this month following Wilson’s departure from the Broncos. His tenure with the team lasted just two years and concluded on a disappointing note.
Following his release from the Broncos, Wilson wasted no time in finding a new home in the NFL. He quickly signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, marking the next chapter in his football career.

Denver made a significant investment in Russell Wilson when they awarded him a five-year, $245 million contract extension just 19 months ago, even before he had played a single down for the team. However, Wilson’s departure from the Broncos now comes with a heavy cost. The team will incur a record $86 million in dead-cap charges, making it one of the most costly trades in NFL history.
Yet, the repercussions of Wilson’s unsuccessful stint with the Broncos extend beyond the financial burden borne by the team.
As reported by The Denver Post, Wilson and his wife Ciara, a Grammy-winning singer, have sold their mansion in the Colorado capital for $21.5 million. This sale comes at a $3.5 million loss compared to the $25 million they paid for it two years ago.
The couple acquired the luxury home in Cherry Hills when Wilson was traded to the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks in 2022. Their purchase price of $25 million remains the highest ever paid for a residential property in Denver.
