Iowa guard Caitlin Clark isn’t just excelling on the basketball court; she’s also making substantial earnings through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals.
In a recent profile by ESPN senior writer Wright Thompson, Clark’s remarkable journey to stardom and her final season with the Hawkeyes were detailed. Thompson disclosed that Clark earns a seven-figure income from her various NIL agreements. As the reigning AP Player of the Year, Clark even has private security for public appearances.
Thompson elaborated on Clark’s endorsement deals, mentioning partnerships with major brands such as Bose, Nike, and State Farm. Additionally, the Iowa-based grocery chain Hy-Vee occasionally covers her security costs for public events.
Nike, in particular, has demonstrated strong support for Clark this season. The brand went as far as erecting a billboard in Iowa ahead of her final regular-season game.
According to On3’s NIL Valuation, Clark’s market value stands at an impressive $3.1 million, placing her among the top earners in college sports. Only Bronny James, Shedeur Sanders, and Olivia Dunne rank higher on the list.

“She earns seven figures and has deals with Bose, Nike and State Farm,” Thompson wrote. “The Iowa grocery store chain Hy-Vee, another corporate partner, sometimes pays for her private security at public events.”
With the NCAA Tournament underway, Clark has a prime opportunity to further enhance her brand this March. Despite her already remarkable stats—averaging 31.9 points and 8.9 assists per game this season—Clark will lead Iowa into tournament action this Saturday.
Should Clark guide Iowa to a national championship victory, she would cement her legacy as one of the greatest college athletes of all time.
