The New York Giants are reportedly “not happy.”
This may seem like a common theme for a team that has made the playoffs only one time since 2016, but this has nothing to do with their play on the field.
According to the NY Daily News, the Giants are “not happy” that it was leaked that they would like to draft Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.

The Giants currently hold the sixth overall pick in the upcoming draft.
McCarthy led the University of Michigan to the National Championship in his final season in college, but then-head coach Jim Harbaugh did not run a pass-heavy offense.
Despite this, McCarthy is still projected to be selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Minnesota Vikings are currently heavy favorites to draft McCarthy at -130 with the Giants right behind them at +250.
