Lance Bass, an avid Taylor Swift fan, expressed his admiration for both Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during a recent encounter.
At Justin Timberlake’s free concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the *NSYNC band member snapped a photo with Kelce backstage. Bass, known for his vocal support of Swift, shared the snapshot on his Instagram Story, playfully referencing Swift’s popular lyric change with the caption, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.” The image captured Bass with his arm around Kelce, both sporting wide smiles.
Bass also tagged Kelce in the post and humorously added, “#StillNotTaylorSwift.”
Joined by his bandmates JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick, Bass marked their first live onstage performance since the 2013 VMAs at Timberlake’s concert. The group treated the audience to a medley of their classic hits along with their new track “Paradise,” featured on Timberlake’s recent album, Everything I Thought It Was.
Following Timberlake’s teaser of the song on Instagram, Kirkpatrick expressed interest in performing it together in the future, while Fatone joked about his singing prowess. Bass eagerly awaited the moment, stating, “I’ve been waiting forever, right here for this moment.”
In addition to enjoying the concert, Kelce took a sweet photo with Kirkpatrick’s 6-year-old son Nash, which Kirkpatrick’s wife Karlyn Skladany shared on her Instagram Story, teasing, “Something big happened tonight…?.”

Swift shares a mutual admiration with *NSYNC. When the group presented Swift with the award for best pop video at the 2023 VMAs, Swift gushed about her fandom, recalling her childhood memories of owning their dolls and expressing excitement over their continued presence.
Bass later credited Swift and her devoted fanbase for the overwhelming support the band received, suggesting that Swift’s influence sparked a renewed interest among fans. He humorously attributed the fervor to Swift, jokingly claiming she “sicced the Swifties” on *NSYNC and contributed to the “tsunami” of enthusiasm surrounding the band’s comeback.
