Brock Purdy is embarking on the offseason with a new title—married man.
The 49ers quarterback tied the knot with fiancée Jenna Brandt in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, roughly a month after San Francisco’s appearance in Super Bowl 2024 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The couple, who announced their engagement in July 2023, celebrated their union with a gathering of “upwards of 350 guests,” according to TMZ, which noted the provision of multiple buses for transportation.

Their wedding festivities unfolded mere weeks after Purdy and the 49ers endured a heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs in overtime at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
Despite the disappointing outcome, Brandt took to Instagram in the days following the game to express gratitude for the season’s journey. “What a season to be proud & thankful for,” she wrote in a heartfelt tribute.
Purdy and Brandt first crossed paths at Iowa State University before she transferred to the University of Northern Iowa, where she competed in volleyball.
The past few years have been eventful for Purdy, who was thrust into action in late 2022 to substitute for the then-injured 49ers starter, Jimmy Garoppolo. He guided the 49ers to an NFC Championship berth in January 2023, though his performance was cut short due to an elbow injury in a 31-7 loss to the Eagles.
Despite setbacks, Purdy retained the starting role in 2023, leading San Francisco to the Super Bowl.
Reflecting on the season’s highs and lows, Purdy shared a poignant message on Instagram last week, emphasizing unity and perseverance. Brandt reciprocated the sentiment, expressing pride and love for her partner in their journey together.
