The NFL is eager to maintain its strong connection with Taylor Swift.
Reports indicate that the NFL is in talks with Taylor Swift for a potential performance at Super Bowl 59 next year.
According to The U.S. Sun, the league expressed interest in having Swift perform at a recent game in Las Vegas, where her boyfriend Travis Kelce was playing for the Chiefs against the 49ers. However, Swift was unavailable due to her ongoing tour commitments and preferred to enjoy the game as a spectator after returning from Japan.
Sources suggest that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sees Swift’s potential performance as a way to attract a broader audience, particularly among younger demographics. Her appearance at Allegiant Stadium during a previous game reportedly drew record-breaking viewership numbers, with 123 million tuning in.

Two NFL business insiders, interviewed by The U.S. Sun, believe having the Cruel Summer star perform at the Caesars Superdome could make it the most watched of all time.
One of the sources, an external business consultant for the NFL, says influential figures within the organization are desperate to get Taylor booked up and have begun trying to make it happen.
He emphasized that Taylor’s mere presence at Allegiant Stadium ensured record viewing figures, with a whopping 123 million tuning in.
It’s speculated that Swift’s involvement in the halftime show could significantly boost advertising revenue, potentially leading to a rise in ad costs from $8.5 million to even higher figures. Estimates suggest that her presence at the Super Bowl could generate revenue ranging from $700-750 million, and if she headlines the halftime show, this figure could soar to $1.3-1.5 billion.
“This year, it has been estimated that her presence helped generate a lot of money, estimated between $700-750 million. If she is the main artist of next year’s halftime show, it’s expected to generate more than $1.3-1.5 billion.”
Furthermore, industry insiders predict that if Swift performs and the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive year, the event could become the largest sports broadcast in American history, possibly surpassing the 140 million viewer mark.
Time will tell if the NFL can land the big fish.
