Reportedly, Taylor Swift held a favorable opinion of her future beau, Travis Kelce, even before they officially met.
The renowned pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end both graced the stage of Saturday Night Live on NBC. According to reports, members of the SNL cast had a hunch that Swift and Kelce would eventually become an item.
Allegedly, Swift found Kelce “funny” after catching his appearance on the show.
“We actually worked with both Taylor and Travis Kelce before they got together,” shared Ben Marshall on Mike Birbiglia’s “Working It Out” podcast. “And she kind of told us that she watched his ‘SNL’ episode and saw him in our video, and was like, ‘Oh, this guy seems funny.'”

Marshall jokingly suggested that they should take some credit for bringing the couple together. “So, like, a little bit [we] brought them together,” he quipped.
However, the SNL stars acknowledged feeling a bit uneasy discussing the high-profile relationship.
“We were like, ‘I think that if then they ever break up, we will somehow be, like, pinned for causing this disaster,'” Marshall commented. “It’s just a very precarious situation because people have such strong feelings about that.”
Swift and Kelce have been going strong since their relationship blossomed in the fall.
