Since the inception of NIL legislation in college athletics, numerous prominent athletes have inked lucrative deals with various brands.
From Bijan Robinson securing a deal for his own line of Bijan Mustard to Penn State standout Chop Robinson teaming up with the Pennsylvania Pork Producers Council to endorse pork chops, athletes have been capitalizing on their image and likeness rights.
However, these deals pale in comparison to the recent agreement struck by Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Dart, who led Ole Miss to an impressive 11-2 record and Peach Bowl victory with 3,364 passing yards and 23 touchdowns, has signed a groundbreaking deal with private jet company Nicholas Air. This partnership grants Dart access to the company’s fleet of private jets for travel, training, and philanthropic endeavors.

Based in Oxford, Mississippi, Nicholas Air boasts a diverse fleet of seven jets, ranging from the Pilatus PC-12 to the Gulfstream G600, offering Dart a wide array of options for his private air travel needs.
“As Nicholas Air, we pride ourselves on providing the most innovative, efficient, and customizable options for private air travel,” the company’s website states. “From our dedicated Personal Travel Representatives to our pilots, and everything in between, it is paramount that we exceed customer expectations.”
Heading into the 2024 season, Dart emerges as a dark horse contender for the Heisman Trophy. With Ole Miss retaining several starters from the previous year and bolstering its roster with high-profile transfers, the team’s commitment to the NIL Era is evident.
While Dart’s schedule may be packed with football commitments, having access to a fleet of private jets could facilitate his family’s ability to attend his games. Hailing from Kaysville, Utah, Dart began his collegiate career at USC before transferring to Ole Miss ahead of the 2022 season.
