Another old tweet resurfaces.
A decade-old tweet from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes regarding none other than Taylor Swift has resurfaced, sparking interest among fans.
Swift, who is in a relationship with Mahomes’ close friend and teammate, Travis Kelce, has been a regular presence at Chiefs’ games throughout the season, attending each of their postseason matches, including their triumphant Super Bowl 58 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
In an interesting turn of events, Mahomes’ old tweet from November 24, 2013, which reads “Why does Taylor win everything,” has garnered attention. Though Mahomes had deleted the tweet at some point, vigilant fans managed to capture screenshots before its disappearance.

Little did Mahomes, Swift’s fans (“Swifties”), and the entire NFL community know at the time how fittingly the tweet would age over a decade later. Swift, a 14-time Grammy Award winner and one of the most acclaimed and adored singers of all time, had the chance to witness her boyfriend clinch his third Super Bowl title in person.
Despite a slow start in the big game, Kelce was a force to be reckoned with in the second half and overtime against the San Francisco 49ers. The future Hall of Famer concluded the day with nine receptions for 93 yards, playing a pivotal role in setting up Mecole Hardman’s game-winning touchdown in the extra frame.
With this victory, the Chiefs also made history by becoming the first team since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots to clinch back-to-back Super Bowl championships.
