Despite facing threats of legal action from Taylor Swift’s attorneys, college student Jack Sweeney persists in tracking the pop star’s movements as she travels to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
Sweeney, a 21-year-old junior at the University of Central Florida, is known for running accounts that monitor the flight paths of celebrities, billionaires, politicians, and other notable figures. Among these individuals is Taylor Swift, whose use of private jets has drawn criticism for its environmental impact.
In addition to monitoring Swift’s movements, Sweeney’s account also documents the carbon dioxide emissions produced by her private jet, prompting Swift’s attorneys to threaten a lawsuit for what they deemed “stalking and harassing behavior.”
Undeterred by the legal threat, Sweeney continues to track Swift’s journey as she travels 5,500 miles from her Eras Tour stop in Tokyo to Las Vegas, where she will attend the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sharing photos and flight details, Sweeney provides updates on Swift’s travels, including alleged messages exchanged by the cabin crew during the flight.

He also claims that emissions from Swift’s journey to Vegas should be doubled, as the airline, VistaJet, reportedly flew a backup plane alongside hers.

Using publicly available data, Sweeney’s accounts offer estimates of the emissions associated with these flights. This isn’t the first time Sweeney has drawn attention for his tracking efforts, having previously clashed with Elon Musk in 2022 over sharing details of Musk’s jet.
Despite Swift’s attorneys’ warnings, Sweeney remains undeterred in his efforts to track her movements. As Swift’s presence at the Super Bowl adds a unique element to the event, Sweeney’s continued monitoring of her travels only adds to the intrigue.
