Travis Kelce knows what’s it’s going to cost to make everyone happy.
The financial strain of attending the 2024 Super Bowl isn’t lost on anyone, not even the players themselves.
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end with a reported net worth of $30 million, humorously discussed the hefty expenses associated with hosting family and friends for the big game during a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” Travis shared, adding, “Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money.”

The exorbitant costs of Super Bowl tickets and VIP suites have become a hot topic lately, particularly among players’ families. Lisa McCaffrey, the mother of San Francisco 49ers player Christian McCaffrey, revealed on her “Your Mom” podcast that even they couldn’t afford VIP suites, which reportedly cost millions of dollars.
“We looked into a suite, and none of us can afford it,” Lisa admitted. “Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia [Culpo], his fiancée. So, we are not in a suite. I’ll tell you that right now.”
Travis’s mother, Donna Kelce, echoed similar sentiments, expressing doubts about securing a suite due to the exorbitant prices associated with Super Bowl hospitality.
“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” Donna stated during an appearance on the “Today” show. “I have a feeling I’m in the stands, so far as I know I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
Despite the financial strain, Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, have been navigating the Super Bowl preparations together, adding a personal touch to the high-stakes event.
