Travis Kelce, the proud partner of Taylor Swift, couldn’t contain his excitement after Swift made history at the 2024 Grammys on Sunday.
“She’s unbelievable, she’s rewriting the history books herself,” the Kansas City Chiefs star expressed during a pre-Super Bowl press conference on Monday night. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and bring some hardware too.”
He continued, “Taylor has an unbelievable fan base that follows her and supports her throughout her life and it’s been fun to gather the Swifties and the Chiefs Kingdom and open them to the football world and sports world and it’s been cool to just experience that.”

Swift, during music’s biggest night, achieved a new milestone by becoming the first artist to win Best Album of the Year four times. Additionally, she clinched the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.
The 34-year-old, now a 14-time Grammy winner, surprised fans when she announced her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” set to release on April 19th – a preview of which Kelce revealed he’s already heard.
“I have heard some of it, yes, and it’s unbelievable. I can’t wait for it to shake up the world when it drops,” he teased.
Despite their high-profile relationship, Kelce couldn’t join Swift in Las Vegas as he geared up for the Super Bowl training. However, he subtly showed his support for his partner on social media.
The tight end noticeably “liked” an Instagram picture where Swift dazzled in a white-and-black Schiaparelli Haute Couture ensemble on the red carpet.
Meanwhile, Swift enjoyed her wins at the awards show and subsequent star-studded afterparty alongside friends like Ed Sheeran, Ice Spice, and Jack Antonoff.
Swift and Kelce, together since July, may not reunite until after the big game due to Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour, resuming Wednesday in Japan. Swift plans to fly back to the States right after her performance.
Although Swift’s attendance is confirmed, her seating arrangement and accompanying friends remain unknown as she often brings along her famous pals.
