Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson proves to be a true gem of generosity and style!
During a segment on the First Take talk series, the versatile entertainer presented ESPN host Molly Qerim with a vintage David Yurman Empire Signet sterling silver ring adorned with black diamonds. Qerim had expressed her admiration for the unique piece of jewelry during the show.
As the segment concluded, Qerim complimented Johnson on the ring, stating, “That pinky ring, I don’t know if that’s vintage, but I’m obsessed with rings, if you can tell I’ve been staring at it the entire show. It’s amazing.” Responding to her admiration, Johnson promptly removed the ring from his pinky and handed it to the astonished host, saying, “There you go.”

In disbelief, Qerim exclaimed, “No. Are you serious? Stop it. This is incredible.” She shared that she had been considering reaching out to her stylist friend for a similar vintage piece. Johnson revealed that the ring was indeed vintage and held personal significance, expressing his gratitude for her acknowledgment.
Confirming his intent to gift the ring, Johnson stated unequivocally, “Absolutely, 100%. Yes.” Following the episode, Qerim and the First Take team shared an Instagram post, capturing the special moment between the host and the actor. In a playful Christmas video, he humorously recreated one of his iconic ‘90s outfits, sporting a long-sleeved black turtleneck, denim jeans, a gold chain, and a black fanny pack, complete with faux hair covering his signature bald head.
