The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly set to interview former Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury for the offensive coordinator position.
Albert Breer of NFL Network reported that Kingsbury, who has already interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears, will have a meeting with the Raiders this week.
Kingsbury, who spent the 2023 season as an offensive assistant at USC after being let go by the Cardinals, has not held a coordinator role since his one-year stint at Texas A&M in 2012. Previously, he spent six seasons as the head coach at Texas Tech before joining the Arizona Cardinals, where he spent four years.

The Raiders are aiming to assemble a strong coaching staff around head coach Antonio Pierce. Pierce, who took over midseason from Josh McDaniels, led the team to a 5-4 record. While Pierce’s leadership was well-received, his experience is limited, prompting the Raiders to seek experienced personnel around him.
Kingsbury, recognized as an offensive guru, brings a wealth of offensive knowledge, though the outcomes during his head coaching tenure did not consistently match his reputation. Taking on the role of offensive coordinator might allow him to focus on his offensive expertise without the burden of overseeing an entire team.
