Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is known for coaching teams with great discipline during the Patriots Super Bowl years.
However, a Patriots legend went on “The Dan Patrick Show” and revealed that some players were willing to risk breaking some rules.
Here’s what Hall of Fame cornerback Ty Law had to say,
“We did it in practice. Mike Vrabel used to have a flask, so we’d all go to Vrabel’s and hit the flask…get some whiskey or something.”

Law played with the Patriots from 1995 to 2004 and is a three-time Super Bowl champion.
The Hall of Famer did emphasize that he didn’t drink before games.
As for Belichick, it’s safe to assume that he didn’t know about this habit among his players during his coaching tenure as it would be completely out of line with the reputation he established as a disciplinarian.
