The Illinois Fighting Illini will have their star player back very soon.
Suspended Illini basketball star, Terrance Shannon Jr., has been allowed to return to the team after being granted a preliminary injunction as he fights charges of rape in Lawrence, Kansas from December of last year.

Shannon Jr. took the X to let everyone know that he is back,
“I am grateful for the opportunity to re-join my teammates and get back to work,” Shannon Jr. wrote
Associate Chancellor for the University of Illinois gave this statement to WAND News,
“We have received the Court’s Order. Effective immediately, Terrence Shannon Jr. has been reinstated to full status as a University student-athlete and will be available for basketball practice and competition. We will continue to review the Court Order and monitor the case.”
Shannon’s legal team also released this statement,
“TJ is grateful for today’s ruling and looking forward to playing for the Illini again. TJ is also thankful to his legal team, lead counsel Rob Lang, Steve Beckett, Mark Goldenberg, Zoe Spector, Tom Horscroft, and Mark Sutter.”
The Illinois Fighting Illini are currently 13-4 overall and ranked #14 in the nation.
