The Detroit Lions’ remarkable season has completely enthralled both the city and its fans. Jared Goff, the Lions quarterback, acknowledges this sentiment and believes that a specific celebrity fan from the area should be present at their next playoff game.
In a recent interview with Doug Karsch and Scott “Gator” Anderson on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit, Goff expressed his admiration for the lively atmosphere created by the fans at Ford Field during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams – the team’s first playoff win in 32 years.
Goff commended the fans, stating, “That’s the greatest (atmosphere) I’ve ever been in front of. Our fans bring it, they really do.”

However, Goff felt that one notable celebrity fan was missing – Kid Rock. The Lions quarterback expressed his hope that the Detroit rock star could attend the upcoming Divisional Round playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field. Goff mentioned:
“I think the only guy, I don’t know if I’ve seen him at a game yet, would be Kid Rock. That would be pretty fun. I think the crowd would enjoy that.”
While rappers Eminem and Big Sean, along with former Lions stars Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson, attended the Wild Card playoff game against the Rams, Goff specifically extends an invitation to Kid Rock, who hails from Michigan and has deep roots in the Detroit rap scene. Notably, Kid Rock has previously performed in the halftime show of a Super Bowl.
Goff seems eager for the musician to join the Lions’ playoff journey, posing the question, “How can he turn that down?”
