Britney Spears made a return to Las Vegas during the holidays, five months after an incident where she was allegedly slapped by NBA star Victor Wembanyama’s security guard.
The 42-year-old pop icon spent a few days in Sin City, with accommodations at Resorts World and Aria, though it remains unclear if she celebrated Christmas there. TMZ reported her presence in a video shared on social media, showing her strolling through The Wynn’s casino floor with a beer in hand, accompanied by security guards.
During her visit, Spears attended the show ‘Awakening’ at The Wynn and later dined at Lakeside, the hotel’s seafood restaurant.
This return to the Entertainment Capital of the World comes after an incident a few months ago when a security guard allegedly slapped her as she attempted to take a photo with Wembanyama in July.
In the video footage, Spears approached the NBA star at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel, supported by her now-estranged husband Sam Asghari. As she tapped Wembanyama on the shoulder, the security guard, Damian Smith, backhanded her, causing her glasses to fall off and her to cry out in pain.

The Las Vegas Police Department’s investigation revealed that Spears had inadvertently hit herself after the security guard pushed her hand away, and no charges were filed against the guard.
Wembanyama addressed the incident at a press conference, challenging Spears’ version of events. However, Spears refuted his claim in a statement on Instagram, explaining that she had simply tapped him on the shoulder. She detailed the incident, expressing concern about the importance of treating all people with respect, especially those in the public eye.
