Aaron Rodgers has received advice to inform his attorneys about the repercussions of his controversial claims made against Jimmy Kimmel on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’ During the interview, the Jets quarterback suggested that Kimmel might be fearful of the list containing names of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates.
In response, Kimmel vehemently denied any connection with Epstein and warned Rodgers about the potential legal consequences, stating that the quarterback’s words put his family in danger. The unsealed list, which doesn’t include Kimmel’s name, has led a legal analyst to advise Rodgers to consider retaining counsel.
Despite an apology from McAfee for the comments made on his show, ESPN, where Rodgers is a contributor, has not yet addressed the situation, and network executives may be concerned about the controversy involving a Disney employee.
Rodgers’ remarks about a sensitive topic may prompt regret in the future.
