Kansas prosecutors have dropped three felony charges of aggravated sexual battery against Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of NFL star Patrick Mahomes.
Jackson still faces a pending fourth charge for misdemeanor battery. He was arrested last May after allegedly shoving a restaurant employee and grabbing the owner by the neck, forcibly kissing her. The sexual battery charges were dropped as the owner refused to testify.
The incident led to negative publicity, the closure of the restaurant, and death threats against the owner. Jackson’s attorney claims his client “has done nothing wrong.”
Vaughn, in an interview with the Kansas City Star recounting the incident from last year, stated that Jackson, who was friends with her stepdaughter, along with five friends, entered the restaurant and proceeded to the basement office.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” she disclosed to the newspaper.
“I’m telling him, pushing him off, saying ‘What are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times,” Vaughn recounted. “In the last instance, I was pushing him off, and I could see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door. I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
Surveillance video published by TMZ last year seemed to show Jackson repeatedly grabbing Vaughn’s neck and kissing her as she attempted to push him away. Just before this, Jackson also allegedly pushed a young male waiter out of the room, as reported by the Kansas City Star.
The pending fourth battery charge against Jackson is related to him allegedly shoving the waiter multiple times.
