Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham celebrated his first NFL career win as a starter against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, and his wife, Kennedy, was his biggest supporter.
Kennedy, an influencer and content creator who played soccer at Baylor University, took to her Instagram story to share their joy. She posted a series of celebratory messages, including a video of a post-game toast with friends after Denver’s 16-9 win at Mile High.

“Last home game, first start in the orange & blue, first career win!!” Kennedy wrote over a photo featuring the Jumbotron at Empower Field with the word “WIN.”
Stidham, who threw for 224 yards and a touchdown in his first start replacing the benched Russell Wilson, was pictured with Kennedy, who is pregnant with their son, and their daughter Lennon, 1, walking out of the stadium hand in hand.
“Now time to celebrate,” Kennedy captioned the post.
The couple enjoyed a private dinner with friends after Denver’s final home game, as seen in another video where Stidham raised a shot glass. Kennedy wrote over the clip, “Cheers to many things!!! but most of all this team fam.”
To ring in the New Year, Stidham and Kennedy shared a kiss, expressing gratitude for 2023 and anticipation for 2024.
The Broncos announced last week that Stidham would start the final two games of the season after Wilson was benched. Despite offensive struggles, the Broncos’ defense played a key role in securing Stidham’s first career win.
Reflecting on the victory, Stidham said, “Once I got back to my locker, texted my wife just what a cool feeling it is to get my first NFL win. But with that, it’s not about me. … It’s about the team getting the eighth win of the year.”
Broncos coach Sean Payton commended Stidham for being “collected, calm, and efficient in and out of the huddle” after the win.
Stidham’s last victory as a starter was leading Auburn to a 63-14 win over Purdue in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 28, 2018.
The Broncos (8-8) will conclude the season with an AFC West showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders (7-9) on Jan. 7. As the Broncos potentially move on from Russell Wilson, Stidham’s future as a starter remains uncertain.
