A photo of Lane Kiffin and his girlfriend gained traction on social media following Ole Miss’ triumph in the Peach Bowl on Saturday.
Heading into the Peach Bowl, Ole Miss boasted one of the nation’s formidable offenses. However, a substantial challenge awaited the Rebels on Saturday as they faced the robust defense of the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Surprisingly, once the game commenced, Ole Miss encountered little difficulty. The Rebels amassed an impressive 540 yards of offense against a Penn State defense that, before Saturday, had been allowing an average of only 223 yards per game. Kiffin took to social media to share the image featuring himself and his significant other.
“#38-25 ? Great scoreboard in this pic!!!” he tweeted.
However, college football fans seized the opportunity to make an age gap joke in response to Kiffin’s caption.
“Final score or age gap?”
“Age gap is more like 48-25. Whatever though,” one fan quipped.
“Does it matter? A win is a win!” another fan added.
Kiffin and his girlfriend, former Ole Miss student Sally Rychlak, have been in a relationship for at least a year, according to reports. It’s evident that they thoroughly enjoyed the Peach Bowl over the weekend, and fans hope they had a delightful New Year’s Eve.
Lane Kiffin appears to be in high spirits, rightfully so, having secured a victory in his final game of the season and now looking forward to spending the offseason with his partner.
