The Kansas City Chiefs are enthusiastically embracing the blossoming romance between Taylor Swift and star tight end Travis Kelce, and they’re expressing their support in a unique way.
Until Christmas Day, the team is auctioning off two jerseys autographed by Travis Kelce, featuring his iconic number 87. However, instead of displaying the usual “Kelce” across the back, these jerseys sport creative combinations of Swift and Kelce’s names, known as “ship” names.

One jersey showcases the name “Swelce,” cleverly blending their last names, while the other bears the moniker “Traylor,” artfully combining Travis and Taylor.
As of 1 p.m. ET on December 24, the highest bid for the “Swelce” jersey was $370, while the “Traylor” version had reached $295.
The excitement surrounding the new couple soared when Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24th, cheering on the Chiefs alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna. Swift continued to attend six more games, with her latest appearance on December 17 at Gillette Stadium witnessing the Chiefs’ victory over the Patriots.
In a Time interview, Swift disclosed that by her first September game attendance, she and Kelce were already a couple. Fans have affectionately coined various ship names for the duo, including Traylor, Swelce, Tayvis, and T².
These custom jerseys not only showcase the star power of Taylor Swift but also celebrate the status of Travis and Taylor as one of the world’s most famous power couples.
