Here’s a proposal that falls into the category of things that are highly unlikely to ever materialize.
The NFL has been exploring different formats for the Pro Bowl, including various skill competitions and flag football games. Former NFL running back Rashard Mendenhall has put forth his own unique idea: an All-Black vs. All-White Pro Bowl game.

Expressing his frustration on Twitter, Mendenhall stated, “I’m sick of average white guys commenting on football. Y’all not even good at football. Can we please replace the Pro Bowl with an All-Black vs. All-White bowl so these cats can stop trying to teach me who’s good at football. I’m better than ur goat.”
While the concept has gained traction on social media, it’s highly improbable that the NFL would endorse such an idea. Of course it followed with some backlash:
The upcoming 2024 NFL Pro Bowl is scheduled for next month. Despite the Pro Bowl’s ongoing struggle to attract viewers in recent years, Mendenhall’s unconventional suggestion is unlikely to be the solution to the viewership challenges the event faces.
