Friendship bracelets are making a comeback in fashion, thanks to Taylor Swift’s devoted fan base. The connection between Swift and Kansas City Chiefs’ star Travis Kelce involves the exchange of these symbolic accessories, highlighting their affection for each other.
Kelce initially expressed his interest in Swift by gifting her a friendship bracelet adorned with his phone number. Recently, Swift was spotted at a party after a Chiefs game, posing happily with Kelce and sporting a gold bracelet with red beads that resembled one from the Erimish brand. The bracelet spelled out “Trav,” Kelce’s nickname, and the Missouri-based jewelry store celebrated the moment on social media.
Erimish co-owner Misha Wilson revealed that they create custom bracelets for significant others and family members of NFL players, including Randi Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ mother. The company didn’t know if Swift had received the bracelets until they saw her wearing one in a photo.
Swift has been seen wearing other Erimish bracelets, including the “87” style, a nod to Kelce’s Chiefs jersey number. The company released the “Trav” custom bracelet in celebration of Swift’s 34th birthday, offering a 34% discount on the custom collection. The bracelet is available for purchase on their website, allowing Swifties to “score” their own, as seen on Taylor accessory. The collection includes bracelets inspired by Swift’s albums and specific songs.
This gesture has not only strengthened the bond between Swift and Kelce but has also sparked a trend among fans who seek to emulate their favorite star’s style.
The Taylor Swift NFL takeover continues.
