The New York Jets halted a five-game losing streak by defeating the Houston Texans on Sunday, and the return of Zach Wilson to the field seemed to rejuvenate his career.
Wilson had been benched earlier in the NFL season after struggling to ignite the New York Jets’ offense in the first half. Following two challenging games without him, the team turned back to Wilson on Sunday, and he delivered an impressive performance.

Throwing for a season-high 301 yards and two touchdowns, Wilson played a pivotal role as the Jets dominated the Texans with a convincing 30-6 victory. This marked a significant improvement for the Jets, who had failed to score more than 15 points in their previous six games.
In response to his outstanding performance, Wilson’s girlfriend, Nicolette Dellano, expressed her pride on social media, stating, “Always proud of you 2.”
Zach and Nicolette have been in a relationship for over a year, following his previous relationship with Abbey Gile.
Wilson wrapped up the game with a career-high passer rating of 117.9. The Jets’ defense played a crucial role, limiting the Texans to just 135 total yards, with quarterback C.J. Stroud managing only 91 passing yards and completing 10 of his 23 attempts.
For Wilson to secure a consistent starting role, he needs to maintain this level of performance and demonstrate consistency in his play.
