It’s a crowded scene in Kansas City, with Tyreek Hill shedding light on his departure from the Chiefs for the Dolphins in 2022. While he has previously criticized the team’s utilization of him in the offense, Hill added a humorous touch in a recent interview with Robert Griffin III.
In the RG3 and The Ones podcast, Hill jokingly mentioned that part of his motivation to leave was his frustration at not being Patrick Mahomes’s primary target, playing second fiddle to All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce both on and off the field. Employing a creative metaphor, Hill playfully expressed his feelings.

“Pat had Kelce, and I was kinda jealous,” remarked Hill. “I was hurt. Patrick, you ain’t never invite me over to your house like you did Kelce. You always invited Kelce. That’s why we’re here where we at now.
“I never been anybody’s side chick before,” he humorously continued.
Describing himself as the “main chick” in relation to his previous quarterbacks throughout his career, Hill emphasized his discomfort with the “side chick” role in Kansas City.
Since joining the Dolphins, Hill has maintained his high level of performance. It raises questions about whether the Chiefs now regret parting ways with him, considering his continued success.
