The NBA is currently investigating the allegations made against Giddey. A league spokesperson confirmed on Friday, a day after the allegations surfaced on social media, that the league office was “looking” into the matter. On Friday, Giddey made his first statement on the matter, stating that he understood the question but had no further comment at the moment. However, the Thunder have confirmed that Giddey will not be missing any playing time at this point. The team is scheduled to play the Sixers at home tonight, followed by games against Minnesota and the Lakers later in the week. Giddey has been performing well this season, averaging 12.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game through 15 games.
