Tua Tagovailoa is channeling a Drake-esque vibe with his latest style update.
Following the Miami Dolphins’ bye week, the former Alabama Crimson Tide standout and current Dolphins quarterback made a notable change in his appearance, showcasing cornrows during a recent press conference.
This fresh look prompted fans to draw comparisons between Tagovailoa and the globally recognized rapper Drake.

When asked about his hairstyle choice on Wednesday, Tagovailoa sported a smirk and casually remarked, “The hair? Oh, yeah, got them done last week. My hair was outrageous, so I thought if I didn’t braid it, or if it wasn’t long enough, then I’d just cut it. So I just thought I’d get it braided.”
In the ongoing NFL season, Tua has played a key role in guiding the Dolphins to a 6-3 record, securing the top spot in the AFC East halfway through the season. He shares the NFL lead with Josh Allen, boasting 19 passing touchdowns. Additionally, he ranks second in passer rating, third in passing yards, and maintains an impressive average of 8.5 yards per attempt.
