The former head coach of LSU Football, Ed Orgeron, has showcased an unexpectedly chiseled physique at the age of 62. A viral TikTok video, initially shared by Bunkie Perkins, features a shirtless Coach O jogging in Rhoback shorts, drawing attention to his impressive physical condition.
Since receiving a substantial $17.1 million buyout from LSU in 2021, just two years after securing a National Championship with the Tigers in 2019, Coach Orgeron has been enjoying life. His buyout story has become legendary, recounting how he was informed, “Coach, you’ve got $17.1 million on your contract. We’re gonna give it to you.” To which he humorously responded, “What time do you want me to leave and what door do you want me out of, brother?”

Coach O has not only been relishing his buyout but has also added to his earnings by collaborating with the athletic apparel brand Rhoback. He has featured in various videos for the brand, including one where he runs shirtless in Rhoback shorts, showcasing his remarkable physique for a 62-year-old.
While there’s no denying Coach O’s impressive physicality, the reception of the video has been mixed. Bunkie Perkins, the initial sharer, humorously mentioned that it appeared on his feed because he “had an urge to buy a leather couch.” Another observer jokingly remarked that the 62-year-old Ed Orgeron is “Built like a teenage mutant ninja turtle.”
Adding a quirky note to Coach O’s diverse background, it’s worth noting that he was previously a Hummer salesman.
