LeBron James is making his mark in the museum scene.
The LeBron James Family Foundation is set to reveal a museum dedicated to the NBA superstar later this month.
LeBron James’ Home Court is scheduled to open on Nov. 25 in Akron, Ohio, his hometown. The museum promises a “multimedia storytelling experience” providing insights into LeBron’s life with exclusive items along his journey from Akron to the NBA, Olympics, business, philanthropy, and more.

LeBron expressed his excitement about the museum’s opening on social media, saying, “This is still so crazy to me that this is happening!!! I can’t wait for my fans all over the world to get a peek behind the curtain to see what we’ve built and where it all began. Ain’t nobody better mess up my room either!! Only in Akron!”
Tickets for the self-guided tour cost $23, a nod to his jersey number, with all proceeds benefiting House Three Thirty’s community programs.
The tour features a recreation of LeBron’s childhood apartment, curated by his mother, Gloria James. Art from fans, game-worn sneakers, and the original rim and backboard from his high school basketball court are among the artifacts on display.
Visitors can explore his illustrious 20-year NBA career, which includes four championships and two Olympic gold medals, making him the league’s all-time scoring leader.
LeBron shared his sentiments about the museum, stating, “My dream was always to put Akron on the map, so to have a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans from all over the world means a lot to me,” LeBron said in a release, via Danielle Langenfeld of Fox 8 News. “I’ve been known to hang on to a lot of things over the years, and I always knew there would be a time and place to bring them out. I’m so proud that place is House Three Thirty, a space my Foundation created to serve my I Promise families and the entire community.”
LeBron continues to demonstrate that he is more than just a basketball player.
