Cincinnati Bengals standout Ja’Marr Chase has been granted a protective order against a woman he accused of harassing him, as reported by TMZ Sports.
In his legal filing, Chase revealed that he had an intimate encounter with Ambar Hunter for a single night in July 2021. However, he alleged that since then, she has engaged in “deliberate and ongoing harassment,” even going as far as posting his and his mother’s phone numbers on social media.
The two-time Pro Bowler further asserted that Hunter has described him as a “deadbeat dad,” despite the fact that they do not have a child together. Additionally, he claimed that she “shares images of someone else’s child to create the illusion of them having a child,” according to TMZ Sports.

Chase also argued that Hunter has made false allegations of being a victim of domestic violence, a claim that has not been substantiated by any law enforcement agency.
It now appears that the restraining order has been lifted.

A hearing took place on October 27th, and following the ruling, the restraining order has been lifted.
According to our source, Chase and Ambar have now reconciled and are back on amicable terms. For those who read between the lines, the implications are quite clear.
The 2021 first-round draft pick is entering his third season in the NFL. He swiftly established himself as one of the league’s most dynamic deep-threat receivers, averaging 18 yards per catch in his rookie year.
In his 29 appearances, he has recorded 168 receptions for 2,501 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Despite having potentially three more years on his rookie contract, speculation has already begun about Chase’s next contract. Spotrac projects his value at $25.4 million per year, which would make him the fourth-highest-paid wide receiver in the league.
Hopefully, Ja’Marr can put this entire episode behind him and focus on his primary role—playing football.
