The stripper industry in Los Angeles seems poised for a substantial surge in visibility following James Harden’s trade to the Clippers.
Once news of the James Harden trade broke in the early hours of Tuesday morning, fans on social media had a plethora of reactions.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Philadelphia 76ers were sending James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers, along with P.J. Tucker and Filip Petrusev, in exchange for Marcus Morris, Nick Batum, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, plus an unprotected 2028 first-round pick, two second-round picks, and a first-round pick swap.

Additionally, the Sixers were acquiring another first-round pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder while parting ways with Danny Green.
The reactions on social media varied widely, with some taking jabs at Shams Charania for delivering the news around 30 minutes after Wojnarowski did. However, a significant portion of the buzz was centered on the Los Angeles strip clubs.
James Harden had been pushing for a move to the Clippers since June, recognizing that a return to Houston was out of the question after the Rockets acquired Fred VanVleet. While he was a free agent at the time, he opted into the final year of his contract, likely expecting a trade orchestrated by Sixers GM Daryl Morey.
When the trade didn’t materialize, Harden publicly accused Morey of dishonesty. Nevertheless, he eventually reported to training camp and even attempted to join the team on a flight to Milwaukee for a game against the Bucks, but he was prevented from boarding the flight by security.
It remains to be seen how long it will take for James Harden to make an appearance at a Los Angeles strip club.
