Eve Wembanyama has been making waves ever since her brother’s NBA debut.
Victor Wembanyama had his NBA debut during the Dallas Mavericks’ 126-119 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The TV broadcast showed Victor’s father and sister a few times, and at a towering 6-foot-5, Felix Wembanyama, and 6-foot-1, Eve Wembanyama, it’s hard not to feel for anyone who bought tickets and ended up sitting behind them.
To add a touch of local flair, Eve Wembanyama was even sporting a cowboy hat.
Fortunately for these fans, Victor was in foul trouble and played for just 23 minutes in his debut, so there weren’t too many reasons to jump out of their seats. Nevertheless, the Spurs’ rookie delivered an impressive performance, going 6-of-9 from the field and sinking 3-of-5 three-pointers (with another one canceled due to an illegal screen).

He also contributed with five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a blocked Kyrie Irving jumper. Despite not having many plays run specifically for him during most of the game, he managed to score 15 points, and the Spurs remained competitive in the final minutes.
For those without seats behind the Wembanyamas, there’s plenty to be excited about. Both Victor and Eve seem like wonderful individuals.
