Kimberley A. Martin from ESPN playfully poked fun at Smith’s appearance during a segment of “First Take.” She humorously commented that Smith resembled an undercover cop at the Barclays Center.

“Lookin’ like an extra from 21 Jump Street,” Martin quipped. “We spotted that outfit – undercover.”
Smith attempted to offer an explanation for his casual attire during Game 4 of the WNBA Finals.
“It was daddy-daughter night,” Smith explained. “I took my daughter to her first basketball game. She was right next to me. I was just hanging out.”
In the context of the WNBA Finals, the Aces clinched their second consecutive championship by defeating the Liberty in Game 4.
